With Tai Chi practice, you can learn to maintain better balance while in motion. dispel the fear of falling, and ultimately avoid falling. Qi Tao’s Tai Chi for strengthening and balance Program adheres to recommendations of the CDC to provide a collaborative approach to community-based fall prevention programs.

Falls can lead to serious injury and loss of independence, but they can be prevented. Activities that improve balance and strengthen legs can help prevent falls. Tai Chi, which is often described as “meditation in motion,” is a gentle exercise consisting of easy, slowly coordinated, fluid movements, perfectly suited for even those not so coordinated.
